THE UNSPOKEN ORCHESTRA

An orchestra plays within your mind.

Singing violins weave melodies, voices engage in contrapuntal dialogues, timpani thunder in fierce exchanges, and waves of crescendo rock you gently in rhythm.

A trombone storm banishes the last remnants of sleep from your bones, while a burst of staccato fireworks lights up the sky of your spirit.

You open your eyes to find four musicians before you:

a vocalist, a double bassist, a pianist, and a tenor saxophonist.

With resonant strings, bow, and baton, they place an orchestra in your mind,

whose instrumentation you alone can determine—chamber ensemble, string orchestra, or baroque consort—awaiting your direction.

Every gesture, every note invites you to shape the unseen, to give form to hidden sounds,

yet leave them unspoken.
